
The only thing I knew for sure was that sashimi was raw fish without the rice. When I first moved to Japan I couldn’t understand the difference between the word sushi and, well, everything else! To me, sushi was fish over rice and inarizushi was a fancier version of nigiri.

Ordering sushi can get a little confusing if you are not familiar with the terms.
